today i've had an interview. my nervs are not my friends at this point, but interviews are suppose to be a little difficult, i guess. this is also a job that i really really want, as a buyers assistant. doesn't make it easier, does it? fingers crossed people, please!

copenhagen / malmö

on saturday morning i'm going to malmö and then later on to copenhagen. anyone who knows anything to do for the weekend? a nice bar, exhibition or new restaurant. it's two years ago i went down there now. my first stop in copenhagen is of course going to be cos...

there is something about train stations, i don't know why but i find them so peaceful. it's so beautiful how everybody is going away or coming home. i used to go to paddington station to get to work in london, i crossed through this massive station and quietly just looked up and soaked in the moment. i miss that.

this guys beard is just phenomenal!

(to me, as a stockholmer this is what i imagine all the men on the westcoast looks like. he reminds me of the captain in "bamse". just very cool. and red.

quiet tuesday

to my swedish readers; there's a special offer at "pressbyrån" on international magazines at the moment, 39,00 sek has to be considered a bargain.

so today i had a quiet morning with a slow breakfast, some reading, and loads of inspiration, right now i'm on the floor painting my toe nails and the sun is shining through my windows. aaaah...

emma is one of my favourite scandinavian bloggers, i met her through a friend a year ago in london for fashion week, such a stylish girl. i think she looks absolutely smashing in her new haircut and i'm thinking, maybe fringe again?

a man on the tube

i saw this man on the platform yesterday and had to take a picture. he was just a red version of karl lagerfeldt really. i loved his velvet trousers and suede shoes. i'm not sure about his plastic bag though, but hey, it's red...

mannequinns made out of blue pearls and hearts in paper. beautiful. i think some people in my life are really made out of pearls and small hearts.

i passed by stockholms biggest department store, nk (nordiska kompaniet) today and i can tell you one thing, we are not used to highend decoreated shopwindows in this city. but this had almost a london standard. i was really surprised. i love harvey nichols, liberty's and selfridge's windows. we don't usually have that here!

nk is suposed to be stockholm's harrods i guess but not as posh as harrods and not as trendy and young as selfridges. somewhere in between. it's not my favourite store but worth a visit if your in town.

the styling in this shoot is just brilliant. i love the colours for this season but you keep seeing the colour-blocked-issue from too many magazines. well done meg gray, i think this is wicked!

a girl at ikea

popped by ikea today just to eat actually and saw this smashing girl. very cute in her bow tie. also saw robyn, the artist, today. her looks made me speachless. but in fairness, women who make funky music has to be funky, right?
