attic visit

i went up to the attic in my parents house (i use to find some good stuff up there) and found this sherling jacket. it was my grandmother's and she bought it in the 40's. i'm gonna leave it to a tailor because it's too big but ooh i love it!

if you have the opportunity to go and see the fashion photography exhibition at, fotografiska, go! it's a collection of fashion photographies from different decades and while you're there you have to visit the café on the top floor with a panorama view of stockholm and amazing (scandinavian)food.

i bought these darlings on saturday. i love how the earrings are just a bit to much. i'm thinking old-lady-living-in-st.tropez kind of to much. with a simple grey jumper they will be perfect. the little bow just had my name on it. h&m, about £4.95 each.

devastated

i am hitting myself in the head at the moment. i found these lovers on ebay three days ago and put my alarm so i wouldn't forget and then some how i managed to put the alarm five minutes to late. i am so so angry. the worst thing is that the winner got them for nothing. i'm not even going to write the amount because it is annoying me to much. aaaaargh...! everything happends for a reason, right?

can't get it out of my head

i just tell you all who live or visit london, please, go to the dior exhibition. i still think of it five days later. i am a sucker for illustrations and ads from the 40's, 50's and 60' when they were still illustrated. rené gruau who illustrated for dior through these decades catches the glamour but he also show a big sense of humor. a lot of the pictures are a bit cheeky. i might have to get somebody (yes you shells) to get me the coffee-table book for me...

daddy /bday / dior homme

my dad is turning old and grey and i've been telling him that he need a pair of cool glasses. after looking for ages i found the pair of glasses on ebay from a collector. he just got back from work looking ace. i'm well proud! honestly, how cool is this 59 year old?

there are rumours going on about an eventual collaboration between tom ford and h&m. i doubt it because tom ford just doesn't seem to be very high street but then again karl lagerfeldt did it. anyway, i wouldn't say no to pieces like the ones below with h&m prices. to be continued.

i went to the rené gruau (illustrator and good friend to christian dior) exhibition today at the somerset house wearing: trousers and coat h&m, hat and shoes, vintage. bag: alexander wang.

sorry, these two pics were the only ones where i'm not cracking up, but still a bit of a funny face..

there's also a matthew williamson exhibition going on (free), check them both out and if you go you have to visit the little book shop, loads of fashion books (proper coffee table books) and i didn't see a single one over £45, bargain!!

i can't charge my camera, i know it's starting to get old now but i just need an adapter which i haven't managed to get yet. until i do, here's an outfit from my last sunday in london. hangover sunday i think if i look at the hair and sunglasses. i miss it.

new town. new office

i've got a new job. it was a quick decision but i know i will love it. i'll start as a pa for this amazing creator and then we'll see where it all goes. have a look at the website and get amazed.

i.d

moving to london was a big challenge for my skin. after a few weeks i felt like if i was 16 again. i have heard that i.d bare minerals is suppose to be very good but it's very expensive in sweden. i just havn't had bad skin enough to give it a try. i can highly reccomend it. it's harder to find over here than at home, don't know why really. scandinavians might be more in to the natural things. i bought this starter kit for (!) £35 and it's about £85 in stockholm where i saw it the first time. it's magic. or yeah, it is to me.

i unpacked the ss11 collection in our showroom at day birger et mikkelsen last monday and these silk shorts is my favourite piece. the fabric was really different, you can't really see it on the pictures but it was... hammered, if that make any sense?

i'm sorry. i know i have been really bad with the updating for a week. technical reasons, my camera charger broke, or my adapter because the charger is purchased in the u.s and it's been a bit of a struggle getting a new one. i'm going over to stockholm for three days. this is all my luggage. one bag and one bag only. well proud of myself. see you up north.

out on a walk

i use to pass this little chewing gum heart every day on my way home or to work. i think it's something beautiful about it. i always forget it's there and i'm walking down the road staring down the street and it surprise me every time.

milan

prada looks very strong i think for the ss11. colours and fabrics are absolutely beautiful. the cuts are very interesting and not very prada to me. the make up is also different. less middle age. i like. right picture is gucci, i loved the colours in the beginning of the show where they were not very gucci. but then again i'm not the biggest gucci fan out there. the end of the show looked more like it use too. i wouldn't say no to the bag in the mid picture, if someone just gave it to me. left picture, the fur piece is just spectacular, even though i wouldn't buy it and that's not just because of the price. new fur. no thanks.

london fashion week is over for this time. even if i didn't get to see any of the shows i love the atmosphere that fashion week brings. you see all these passionate people everywhere and lovely outfits. it now moves on to milan and then paris.



this is the range of colours i'm going to wear today. i hate the fact that i might have to bring a pair of tights in my bag. bare legs are just so much nicer.

i've had questions about the pub next to the river that i've had a piture up of me on the veranda. it's called "ye white hart" in barnes, london. and another question was "what exactly i am doing in london?" well working wise, i work at danish frashion brand, day birger et mikkelsen (net-a-porter, matches, selfridges and some house of fraser's) where i also do an internship as a buyers assistant at their uk office. otherwise i'm just enjoying london and all there is to do here.

i moved recently and one thing i always find out is, i have loads of make up. one new years eve a few years ago i went for the femme fatal look. i remember it as a disaster and decided that red lips are not for me. i found it in the bottom of a bag and this is literally the third time or so in my life i'm putting red on. this time i like it. ysl 120.
