thursday morning i had this link in my inbox saying "i thought i spotted you in marie claire for a second, she has got your eyes for sure" made my day and the day after.
best news today; apparently uniqlo is trying to find store locations in stockholm. a-m-a-z-i-n-g. it's like clothing-ikea. woolen or cashmere jumpers and perfect shirts and jeans in any colour you want. can't wait.
i bought these two scarfs in london, both from forever21. forever21 was never around when i lived over there and since i've never been to the states i was a bit excited. it's like primark more or less. maybe forever21 has more of an american touch to it.
just realisze my beautiful nude silk socks just make me look like i wear legging - the worlds most ugly look you can ever go for, if you ask me. just not flattering, on anyone. anyway, picture got a bit dramatic with the wind going mad with my hair and coat.
Actually wearing> star tights, socks and boots, topshop. coat and skirt, h&m. jumper, acne. bag, balenciaga.
if you are a little fashion slave, like me, but in the same time have some worries about the environment and human rights, i think you should read this book. i didn't buy i single piece of anything close to clothing after redaing this book in about two months.
did you for example know that to produce 1 kg of raw cotton, that whole process requires between 18000-25000 litres of water (!) cotton is mainly produced in contries where the people living there don't always have access to water, never mind fresh water.
well, i couldn't make up my mind yesterday and often when i can't decide between two pieces i just turn around wearing something else. i started to run late and just quickly put on the green outfit again which happend to be thrown on my sofa. i usually never wear this green so it's good for a change.
coat and jumper, h&m. shirt, rodebjer. trousers, acne and shoes, converse.
... by my mum. she's got a little room in her house with big windows, a green sofa and then mostly green plants. she calls it the green room - or "room to breathe" in swedish "andrum". it also has this little pile of things that she loves.
you just gotta lover her. anna anna anna. i think why i'm always blown away with pictures of her is that she seems to be so cool and relaxed about her position as a style phenomenon in the fashion industry. she doesn't care about rights and wrongs, whats a bang on the trend or chic at the time. her whole energy is just saysing "yeah, here i am like it or not, i think i rock..." her attitude to this industry is a massive source of inspiration for me. nothing is impossible. here photographed by scott schuman. picture: the sartorialist.com
first thing i noticed here was, of course, the hair colour on karen elson. but i really like this whole story photgraphed by peter lindbergh. i love the colours. that ice-cristpy-pale pink suit is just marvelous to her hair. clothing picked by, of course, grace coddingtone. very very beautiful.
haha the look on my face in this one, maybe you can't tell but it's quite windy and i don't like wind. you get your hair in your face and shit. also sorry about the lack of light in the picture. my camera has been acting very funny lately, which leads me into something i need help with, anyone who's got suggestions on a new camera? hit me.
