in the box

a month ago i saw these shoes in a advert for kurt geiger since they did a collaboration with vogue uk and their august issue. i've checked out the website more than ever the last couple of weeks because they are such a smashing style i knew they would sell out. perfect heel (as usual looks lower in pictures) and classic but edgy pointy. i can't think of an outfit where they are wrong right now. as always with kurt shoes, surprisingly comfy.

perfect colour. in some lights its very goldish and in some light just beige. two in one? i got it at Selfridge's and apparently it was exclusive to them. (damn you agi) i think if you travel a bit this summer you'll find it at bigger airports.

fashion editor for italian vogue l'uomo, giovanna battaglia, looks as breath taking as just italians can do. i would leave the scarf at home but would defo go for her trousers and it reminds me that i still haven't found my ideal wide ones. keep lookin.

proenza schouler resort ss2010. my heart stopped a little bit when i saw this collection the first time. such a beautiful mix. mix of styles, fabrics, colours and models but in the same time to consistent. these looks are going to stay in my mind the whole autumn and winter.

innovative designer hussein chalayan actually makes fashion design and i would say, engineering, walk hand in hand. his work is absolutley incredible. my creative mind will get twisted and confused yet amazed when this exhibition opens in september 8th to october 2nd. lisson gallery, london nw1.

the clouds on the sky this morning allowed me to wear jeans for the first time in weeks. shoes and flared jeans, topshop. suede jacket, h&m. bag, alexander wang.

when its cold

london has been getting rained at today for the first time in about a month. that made a little little part of me want it to be september for one day and then back to summer again. looking trough uk vogue last night might also have something to do with it.

sat in hyde park after work to 9.00 and it was still 32 C°. just wearing a oversized summer top from day birger et mikkelsen and old denim shorts. later on mau mau dancing to brazilian drums.

...the only right thing to do is enjoying one of londons many galleries. yesterday i went to the saatchi with my sis who by the way manage to find her old munthe plus simonsen flats somwhere in a box at home. jealous. go danish design. the desk gives me a bit of that danish design feeling too, simple and rustic. that feels like home. i feel creative just by looking at that desk. can also really recommend the afternoon tea at the restaurant in the same buildning. yum.

kate who?

kate moss may have been the star of monday nights lounge of the mario testino exhibition "kate who?" but i've always been a big stella mccartney fan. she looks so relaxed. i love her shoes! at he exhibtion, i need them! second pic is from the lounge of her resort 2011 collection in new york. as always her own design, tried those shoes on at a sale somewhere, but they didn't have my size left. sad. exhibition is on to the 16th of july at the phillips de pury&company's london galleries and then moves to my favourite london museum, the saatchi gallery.

small leather goods

i have the best sister in the whole world. of all sisters i picked the one that's best for me. i met her last night for a drink and she had a treat for me. i had to choose between a sale osais bag or a small paper bag from liberty. (!). as i always put myself first i pointed at the purple bag and found this little leather lanyard from marc jacobs. she said she want me to think of her every time i go somewhere. just so you know siri, i will do even if you didn't buy me this, silly billy. i miss you already.

it just ate my oyster and made friends with the balenciaga. great.
